1) GUARANTEE
All of our products come with a 2 year warranty manufacturers guarantee. If a fault (manufacturers fault) does occurs within the guarantee period we will arrange either a prompt repair or exchange.
2) PRICING
All product prices are displayed either inclusive and exclusive of VAT at 20%.
Irrespective of any previous price you have seen or heard, once you select a product that you wish to order, you will then be shown or told (on the Site) the charges you must pay including VAT, and any applicable delivery charges.
3) DELIVERY & TITLE
A signature is required for all deliveries and is used as proof that the product was accepted in its delivered condition. Any damaged or missing items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to our customer services by telephone - tel 0845 8382448. Failure to report damaged or missing items after this period will result in any claim being void.
Safe Security Services Ltd shall deliver your order via our chosen carrier. All items listed on our web site include a *UK Mainland Free Delivery Service. This free delivery service is available to UK mainland addresses only (charges may be incurred for any locations requiring transit via ferry). The Free Delivery Service is available Monday to Friday during office hours. *Chargeable delivery services are available to extremities, UK offshore and international addresses.
Selected items may include free delivery to a ground floor location or an upper floor location with access via a lift. A delivery charge may be incurred on certain orders where the delivery route includes stairs. The specific delivery service offered for each product, and any additional delivery services, are displayed on each product page. A premium delivery service may be available as a delivery option and would be subject to a charge as listed.
Anticipated delivery dates may be provided, however act as a guide only. Safe Security Services Ltd cannot be held liable for any loss of business, income, losses, cost, damages, charges or expenses that may result from later delivery.
All risk in the product shall pass to you upon delivery. From the time when risk passes to you, we will not be liable for loss or destruction of the product. Ownership of the products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the products, including any delivery charges.
4) INSTALLATION
On many products installation is required to meet the manufacturers and/or insurers specification and achieve the recommended cash rating. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure the product is installed correctly.
Floor loading – in all cases it is the customers responsibility to ensure that any floor loading restrictions are adhered to.
Safe Security Services Ltd will not be held responsible for any loss or damage as a result of floor loading limits being exceeded.
Safe Security Services Ltd offer an installation service. Works are undertaken by trained safe installers. Safe Security
Services Ltd will not be held accountable for any damage or expenses incurred during or as a result of the product
installation.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure no mains services (including water pipes and electrical cables) risk being
damaged during installation. We strongly advise the customer to check prior to any drilling that may be required. In the
event the product cannot be installed due to hazards such as under floor heating, pipes, cables or unidentified
obstructions and re-attendance is required to carry out the works, a charge will apply.
Where an installation service is provided or requested the delivery route and installation location must be free of obstructions, allowing easy access for our engineer(s). If you require a wall installation you must remove skirting boards and any other obstructions prior to installation. Failure to comply to the aforementioned, may result in an aborted delivery/installation. If we are unable to carry out the delivery/install and are required to re-attend at a later date due to no fault of our own, a minimum charge of £125 + vat will apply.
Stair work not declared or charged for at time of order, will be charged additionally and potentially may require a separate survey. Failure to disclose additional steps or stair work could result in an aborted delivery and a charge will apply to re-attend and carry out the delivery/installation.
If the installation service is an optional delivery service (paid as an extra service) and an aborted delivery occurs, due to no fault of our own, the installation charge will not be refunded and the charge will be applied again to re-attend.
5) CANCELLATION
a) We may cancel a contract if the product is not available for any reason. We will notify you if this is the case and return any payment that you have made.
b) We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for the product.
6) RETURNS POLICY
Customers can return a product for a refund in the following way (other than goods tailored to the consumers specifications or personalised). Notification must be within fourteen days starting from the day the goods are received and the product must be returned in "as new condition"; in suitable packaging with all manuals and accessories. Safe Security Services Ltd must be notified before customers return products. We will provide you with a unique reference number via email, no returns will be accepted without this unique reference number. Customers can notify us in the first instance by phone, email or online contact form.

Returning goods; Unwanted products: Returns to be sent direct to Safe Security Services Ltd or our named agent (we will confirm address). Once the product(s) has been received and checked over, the refund will be actioned. PLEASE NOTE: ANY POST AND PACKING COSTS INCURRED ON RETURNED ITEMS ARE FOR THE BUYERS ACCOUNT AND ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Damaged Goods.
If your delivery is damaged in transit, you must notify us within 24 hours so that we can register the damage with the courier and if applicable arrange for a replacement unit FOC. We can arrange collection.
Replacements
If the product is faulty on delivery, we will arrange either a prompt repair or exchange or refund as appropriate, in accordance with your legal rights.
Please note:- All our products come with a minimum one year warranty manufacturers guarantee. If a fault (manufacturers fault) occurs after 30 days from purchase date and within the warranty period we will arrange (via the manufacturer as appropriate) a prompt repair or exchange.
7) CONTRACT CONCLUSION
If you submit an order for goods via this site by clicking “Place Order”, your order is an offer to us to buy the goods on our website. We will acknowledge receipt of your order by sending you an automatically generated e-mail. This is only an acknowledgement of receipt of your order, and no binding contract will be formed between us until we accept your order by separate shipping confirmation e-mail.
The contract will relate only to those specific goods which are referred to in our e-mail confirming our acceptance of your order. You should read and check the details in this e-mail to ensure that they are correct.
